The lakeside log cabins at historic Jackson’s Lodge combine a rustic and relaxing family-friendly atmosphere with all the modern necessities you’ll need during your Vermont ‘Northeast Kingdom’ vacation to this “place from another time.”
Two Bedroom Cabins
Some of our cabins were built in the 1920s, utilizing time-honored log cabin construction methods. The large cedar logs forming the exterior walls are also exposed on the interior of these cabins creating a truly rustic ambience.
Our newer cabins, although very similar in appearance to the “authentic” log cabins, are covered with real log siding and boast warm pine-board interiors.
All of Jackson’s housekeeping cabins are pet-friendly and are meticulously maintained providing: fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to make your own great meals, living room & dining area, two or three bedrooms, full bathroom, lakeside screened porch, and picnic table. Linens and bath towels are also provided.
Three Bedroom Cabins
Although the cabins have maintained their original rustic (non-technological) Vermont charm, the main Lodge offers hi-def large-screen TV via satellite, complimentary land-line telephone, and free secure WIFI access for our “rurally-challenged” guests who choose to stay connected with the rest of the world.
Wayfarer Rooms
Jackson’s Lodge also offer lodging in a couple ‘Wayfarer Rooms’ located next to the main Lodge; which we have chosen to keep pet-free. These rooms open onto a deck accented with rot-iron patio furniture overlooking the lake and awesome sunsets. These quaint rooms include a comfortable queen-size quilted bed, fix-ins for brewing coffee & tea, microwave oven and small frig. Bathrooms include a shower stall. Linens and bath towels are also provided.
