The lakeside log cabins at historic Jackson’s Lodge combine a rustic and relaxing family-friendly atmosphere with all the modern necessities you’ll need during your Vermont ‘Northeast Kingdom’ vacation to this “place from another time.”
Some of our cabins were built in the 1920’s, utilizing time-honored log cabin construction methods. The large logs forming the exterior walls are exposed on the interior of these cabins creating a truly rustic ambience.
Our newer cabins, although very similar in appearance to the “authentic” log cabins, are covered with real log siding and boast warm pine-board interiors.
All of Jackson’s housekeeping cabins are pet-friendly and are meticulously maintained providing: a living room area; full bathroom; fully equipped kitchen; two or three bedrooms; lakeside screened porch; and picnic tables. Linens and bath towels are also provided.
Although the cabins have maintained their original, peaceful, and rustic (non-technological) Vermont charm, the Main Lodge offers television via satellite, complimentary telephone, and wireless internet access for our “rurally-challenged” guests who choose to stay in touch with the rest of the world.
The perfect place to “get away from it all”, consider Jackson’s Lodge and Log Cabins as the realization of your Vermont ‘Northeast Kingdom’ relaxation destination.
